Your first visit generally includes a Comprehensive Dental Examination. We will diagnose your unique dental needs, learn your desires, and discuss how we might fulfill them. Dr Goldner will examine your mouth for signs of oral cancer and dental abnormalities such as decay, missing teeth, jaw dysfunction and any defective fillings. To be thorough, digital radiographs (x-rays) will be taken. A full series is recommended by the American Dental Association every three years. If you have had x-rays taken recently, please bring them with you or contact us to have them sent directly.
For those patients who have had regular dental care, a routine cleaning will likely be performed at this visit. If any signs of periodontal disease are present, more comprehensive treatment may be recommended, sometimes just a second visit. The details of this periodontal care will be discussed before initiation.
Generally, the initial adult visit includes the complete exam, x-rays, routine cleaning and polishing, oral hygiene instructions, oral cancer screening, periodontal diagnosis and a full treatment plan. The fee for this visit is $163 to $288, depending on the number of xrays necessary. If you are a visitor to our island practice, in good dental health and desiring only a routine dental cleaning, our usual $98 fee will be charged.
If you are being seen for an emergency or Limited Oral Exam, Dr Goldner will examine the area and may take x-rays. You can anticipate a fee of $75 to $100, and to have a full discussion of what needs to be done, including any additional fees necessary.

We are happy to offer you a Cosmetic Consultation at no fee, or to offer you a second opinion on your options. We can also show you cases similar to your own which we have completed in the past.
We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We will file your insurance for you, and will accept benefits directly for all established patients. We will work with you to maximize your benefits as possible, and we accept virtually all insurance plans which allow you the freedom to choose which dentist you prefer. Your payment or copayment is due at the time of service, and you should recognize that you will be responsible for any fees that your insurance does not pay. We also offer 6 and 12 month NO INTEREST financing for qualifying treatment plans.
